Purpose
WEBBE-B File Audit Lab exists to make a narrow task safer: inspect a folder before a duplicate cleanup or bulk rename. The product provides an inventory, candidate screening, optional content hashes, a rename preview, collision detection, and exports. It deliberately does not delete, move, upload, or rename selected files.
Maintainer
The site is owned and maintained by Jisung Kim. It is an independent personal software project, not a filesystem-forensics firm, cloud-storage provider, or data-recovery service. The project does not claim professional certification in digital forensics, legal discovery, information security, or records management.
Questions, reproducible bug reports, and correction requests can be sent to its.me.jskim@gmail.com. A useful report includes the browser, operating system, release version, expected behavior, actual behavior, and a non-sensitive reproduction when possible.
A hub with a flagship product
WEBBE-B is a central hub for practical browser tools. File Audit Lab remains the flagship product on the home page. The tool directory also connects Snapshot Compare for inventory comparisons and PricePatch for price CSV review. Our worked examples explain how to choose a tool, reproduce a result, and understand its limits. Each linked tool has its own scope; a listing is not a guarantee of suitability for every task.
How claims are supported
Product claims are bounded by the methodology and test log. The built-in dataset is synthetic, downloadable, and designed to include both confirmed duplicate groups and same-size false positives. Limitations are stated alongside features rather than hidden in a separate disclaimer.
Business status
The current release is free to use. It has no account, subscription, paid placement, affiliate link, sponsored review, or uploaded-file processing service. Advertising may be considered only after platform approval and will not be placed inside file controls, download actions, policy pages, or screens without substantial publisher content.
