Acceptance and permitted use
By using this site, you agree to use it lawfully and only on files you are authorized to inspect. You may use the tool for personal or organizational folder review. You may not use the site to interfere with the service, probe other users, distribute malicious content, or misrepresent the published test results.
Read-only product boundary
The application produces an inventory, candidate groups, hashes, rename previews, and exports. It does not perform deletion, movement, or renaming. Any action taken with another program is your decision and responsibility.
No professional or recovery service
The site does not provide legal advice, records-management certification, digital-forensics conclusions, or data-recovery services. A matching hash does not decide retention obligations. Keep an independent backup and follow the policies that apply to your files.
No warranty
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Reasonable tests are published, but no guarantee is made that the tool is error-free, compatible with every browser or filesystem, or suitable for a particular cleanup. Do not rely on it as the only record of your data.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the maintainer is not liable for loss of data, business interruption, lost revenue, or indirect damage arising from use of the site or from destructive actions performed outside the site.
Intellectual property
The site design, original documentation, test dataset structure, and application code are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party names remain the property of their respective owners. No third-party endorsement is implied.
